Compassion Care has started new 3 hour Monday-Friday evening tutoring program in two very poor villages now where we teach the kids basic English and help them with other basic education.
These are children to poor to go into town for a formal education.
We also supply water and a snack depending on our resources. We try to supply every child with a backpack, paper, pencils and learner booklets.
It warms the heart to see the children glow when they get their educational supplies. They realize hope for a better and brighter future is right before them.
We also have food distribution to hurting families and widows. We also purchase new clothing for some of the kids who have nothing who live in dirty, torn and tattered clothing.Love always compels us to see beyond ourselves.
Compassion Care"s vision and goals reach into the most desperate parts of our planet to bring hope, life and the light of life.
Sometimes we think our little really can’t make much of a difference.
It reminds me of the story where there was an abnormal tide that exposed thousands of starfish to the sun and extreme heat. A young man had compassion and began throwing the starfish one by one back into the ocean. Others walked up to him and asked what are you doing? It doesn't matter….As the young man threw the star fish he was holding back into the ocean he says, “It mattered to that one.”
We sometimes can’t do everything but we can do something. We can make a difference. As many come together with their little a great wave is formed that covers many.
